The Implementation Of “Writing In The Here And Now”Technique In Teaching Writing For The Students Of Eleventh Grade In MA. Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan

Writing is an important thing for the students because by writing the students can apply the grammar, spelling and vocabulary they have learned. Writing is the complex art because writing need spelling ability, structure, and vocabulary. In fact, most of students of eleventh grade at MA MATSARATUL HUDA Panempan Pamekasan can not write sentences in paragraph well, but instead they will feel lazy if the teacher asks the students to write a composition on the paper such as to write letter, poem, short story and other in English form. Therefore, the teacher use “Writing in the here and now” as a technique to teach writing.
There are three problems in this research; the first is how the English teacher implement “writing in the here and now” technique in teaching writing for the students of eleventh grade senior high school in MA Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan . The second is what are the problems faced by the students in “writing in the here and now” technique. And the third is what are the solusion must done by the teacher.
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative approach while the kind of research which the researcher used is descriptive qualitative. In collecting the data the researcher uses three techniques. They are; observation, interview, and documentation tehniques. There are some steps that researcher applied in collecting the data. They are; pre-research, the process of research, and arranging the result of research.
The implementation of “ writing in the here and now” technique in teaching writing the teacher use three steps; pre-teaching, whilst-teaching and post-teaching activities. The students problems are mostly about grammar dan teacher slove them by expalining the grammatical rules.
