Language is a tool to communication. One of the language skills is listening. Listening is in term of whether the listener is also required to take part in the interaction. It is a very fundamental in communicating because we would be able to respond to what was said anything when we understand what they mean. In teaching learning we need strategy to make the students was not bore in the classroom. Therefore, it is challenge for the teachers in demand to manage the class well to create a Joyful atmosphere in order to make the student felt comfortable in teaching learning process especially in teaching listening. In order to teaching and learning process is good, required the ability a teacher to be able to create optimal learning conditions, one of which is the classroom setting. Based on the phenomena above, the researcher interests to take the title “The Importance of Classroom Setting on the Listening Class at the Eighth Grade of MTsN Parteker Pamekasa.” as the research focus of the study.
The focuses of this study are 1). How is the importance of classroom setting on the listening class at the eighth grade of MTsN Parteker Pamekasan. 2). How can a English teacher manage the classroom setting well on the listening class at the eighth grade of MTsN Parteker Pamekasan. In this study, the objectives are 1). To investigate the importance of classroom setting on the listening class at the eighth grade of MTsN Parteker Pamekasan. 2). to describe the managing of classroom setting on the listening class at the eight grade of MTsN Parteker Pamekasan.
This research used qualitative approach, while the research method applied in this study is descriptive research. The qualitative approach here is to describe the data in the form of words. The data is taken from observation and interview, documentation with the teacher and the students of MTsN Parteker Pamekasan. She has observation, searched, collected, and interviews the data that contain The Importance of Classroom Setting on the Listening Class at the Eighth Grade of MTsN Parteker Pamekasan.
The result of analyzing data shows The Importance of Classroom Setting on the Listening Class at the Eighth Grade of MTsN Parteker
