The Use of Snack Pack Media in English Teaching and Learning Process in MA Al – Islamiyah II Bujudan Pamoroh Kadur Pamekasan

As English teacher has responsible to make the students are interested in English subject and make English become an interesting subject for students. For those reason, teacher should choose suitable technique of teaching which is suitable to the students’ condition, teacher can use the media to present the subject in order to make the learning process is more attractive and the students will be interested in English subject. Media is everything that can present or deliver message from the source that is planed to create learning environment and the receiver can make learning process effectively and efficiently. Such as Snack Pack Media. It is made from the package of snack that is used as media to deliver the subject to students.
There are two research focuses in this research. The first one is what the strategies are used by the teacher in using Snack Pack Media in the English teaching and learning process at MA. Al-Islamiyah II Bujudan Pamoroh Kadur Pamekasan; the second one iss how the Snack Pack Media is used in English teaching and learning process at MA. Al-Islamiyah II Bujudan Pamoroh Kadur Pamekasan.
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative approach, while the kind of the research is descriptive. The data is gotten from the observation, interview, and documentation. While the data sources in this research are headmaster, english teacher, and students. Data analysis that is used by researcher in this research is Miles and Huberman’s model, that is data reduction, data display, and cconclusion drawing/verification. While the data validity that is used is triangulation.
The result showed that: the first, strategies that is used in using Snack Pack Media in English teaching and learning process are: the package of snack is brought by each students from their house, the english teacher chooses the easy and interesting material in order to make students easy to understand, th English teacher divided the classas into groups, the english teeacher gave the homeework in the final meeting; the second, Snack Pack Media is used in English teaching and learning process when the teacher want to teach writing, reading, and vocab.
Based on the result above, it is suggested for English teacherr in order motivated the students to study as well as possible. Beside that, the English teacher should use better strategies and methods in using Snack Pack Media that is suitable to students necessary till the students can be good learner at their instution and they can good achievement.
