The main problem of this study is whether the achievement of the students who are taught by using Learning Cell technique in teaching reading comprehension has higher achievement than the students who were not taught by using Learning Cell technique at the Seventh Grade of MTs Darut Thalibin Ponteh Galis Pamekasan.
In this research, the researcher used quantitative approach with true experimental research design, the population of this research is the Seventh grade of MTs Darut Thalibain Ponteh Galis Pamekasan. And the researcher takes two classes as a sample and the result are class VII A consist of 20 students as experimental group, and class VII B consist of 20 as control group. While the instrument used in this research was test (pretest and posttest), observation and documentation. This research was done since February 17, 2012 until Mart 28, 2012. The technique of data used is statistical analysis exactly t-test analysis.
The result of research showed that the students who are taught by using Learning Cell technique in teaching reading comprehension has higher achievement than the students who are taught without using Learning Cell technique at the Seventh grade of MTs Darut Thalibin Ponteh Galis Pamekasan. It was proved from the result of data analysis and hypothesis testing that showed the experimental group is 91, and the control group is 85. While, from the result of t-test analysis was found that t-value is higher than t-table, the value of t-test is 4, 67. While the critic value in df 30, on 95% is 2,04 and 99% is 2,71 (2,04 < 5,928 > 2,71). Then in df 40, on 95% is 2, 02 and 99% is 2,70 (2,02 < 5,928 > 2,70).
Based on the result above, the researcher concludes that the using of Learning Cell technique on students reading comprehension should be continued as one of technique since it could add increase the students’ reading comprehension.
