The Implementation of “Guess My Gesture” Game in Teaching Vocabulary of Kiddy Class in Putri Dharma Course (PDC) at Galis Pamekasan

This study aims to describe the analysis of the use of picture as media used by tutors
in teaching English as a foreign language in the kiddy class in Putri Dharma Course (PDC) at
Galis Pamekasan. This research was conducted at the Putri Dharma Course (PDC) at Galis
Pamekasan. The subject of this research is an English tutor who teaches at the kiddy class
Putri Dharma Course (PDC) at Galis Pamekasan
There is a main problem in this research. That is, the researcher wants to know about
how the use of “Guess My Gesture” game as a medium is used by tutors in memorizing
English vocabulary of kiddy class in Putri Dharma Course (PDC) at Galis Pamekasan. The
approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive.
Data obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The source of this research
is the students of kiddy class. In checking the validity of the data, researchers also used
technical triangulation.
The data obtained from this research are in the form of observations, results of
interviews with tutors about the process of implementing learning with “Guess My
Gesture”game as a medium for memorizing English vocabulary, results of documentation and
results of student projects. The results of this study indicate that the use of “Guess My
Gesture” game as a medium for memorizing English vocabulary makes it easier for students
of kiddy class to memorize vocabulary with game that attract the enthusiasm of students of
kiddy class in Putri Dharma Course (PDC) at Galis Pamekasan.
Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of “Guess My
Gesture” game as a medium for remembering English vocabulary of kiddy class in Putri
Dharma Course (PDC) at Galis Pamekasan has been carried out according to the lesson plan
or lesson plan (RPP) that has been designed by the tutor. Not only that, in its implementation
there are also the roles of the teacher, and some disadvantages and advantages of using game
as a medium considering the English vocabulary of kiddy class, where these the roles and
advantages and disadvantages have been proven from the results of interviews with tutors and
students of kiddy class in putri dharma course (PDC) at galis pamekasan.
