Analysis of Effective Learning Methods in Establising students’ Character the 5th Grade of SDN Pagendingan 2 Galis Pamekasan

The effective method is the method used to implement plans that have been
prepared in real activities in which learning uses 2 process methods namely, the
lecture method and the question and answer method, and with these methods to create
effective learning, one of which is by forming good student character whose goal is to
have religious spiritual strength and personality so that an effective learning method
is formed properly.
In this study, the approach taken by the researcher was a qualitative approach
with a descriptive research type. Sources of data obtained from school principals,
grade 5 teachers and students. The use of research with qualitative methods and
descriptive types is to match the realities in the field with the theory that I have
described in chapter 2. The procedure for collecting data in this study uses interviews,
observations, and documentation.
The results of the study show that first, the strategy of teaching methods is
effective in shaping the character of grade 5 students at SDN Pagendingan 2. Among
them is the learning method that has been applied using the question and answer
method and the lecture method, so that by using these methods students understand
more clearly and concisely, because with this method students listen better so that the
learning process is more developed, a good character is formed with effective
learning methods. The second is an analysis of strategies that are effective in shaping
the character of students at SDN Pagendingan 2, including one obstacle where there
are children who are less focused when learning with different characters and to apply
it, namely the teacher uses the lecture and question and answer method so that they
remain trained to focus on learning situations and students really understand what has
been explained with good examples so that students remain in optimal learning
conditions.
