Difficulties in Introducing Themselves by Using English at Sma Terpadu Al Maarif pangarengan Sampang Academic year 2022-2023

Learning English with the sub-theme introduce myseft is still a problem
for students. In the learning process there are still many students who experience
confusion develop their abilities and not all students can complete the task
well.Learning to speak in English that is applied in class and at schools are still
not commonly practiced. Many students have not been able to express their
identities Himself in full in the Introduction
Based on this, there are two main problems that are the subject of study in
this study, namely: first How do the students’ introduce themselves by using
English at class X SMA Terpadu Al Maarif Pangarengan Sampang, second What
are the students’ difficulties in introducing themselves by using English at SMA
Terpadu Al Maarif Pangarengan Sampang. The researcher interviewed 6 students
named Moh. Hoiril Anam, Novi Aulia, Moh. Azizi Mustofa, Saiful Bahri, Bahrain
amin, Siti Aisyah Ahmad.
The reseach use a qualitative approach to analysis as a type of research.
The main source used is the analysis of teachers and students to find out the data
needed. While secondary sources refer to books and journals that discuss students’
difficulties in speaking using story telling. To collect data, researchers used
interviews and documentation.
The results of this study indicate that there are some difficulties
experienced by students when speaking using introducing themselves . Including
students who cannot speak when introducing, students who do not have the
courage to tell English introducing, students who do not have vocabulary
