The Use Of Online Media In Teaching Recount Text To The Ninth Grade Of MTs Sofyanul Abshor At Taman Sareh Village Sampang

Online media is a tool to communicate by connecting a signal to the
internet. Because of the all activities done by online, so it need social networks.
Social networks have become one of the most significant means of
communication among people; where there is through the Internet which
provides accessibility to a large number of people. The application of Social
Networking Sites (SNS) in the teaching and learning process has a positive
impact on the implementation of SNS and opens the door to a new day of
teaching and learning. Social networking focuses on identity, network
infrastructure, privacy, technology issues, and use as a tool for teaching and
learning.
There are two objectives of this research. The first is to identify what
media the teacher gives in online teaching, especially in teaching recount text,
and the second is to find out what the English teacher of MTs. Shofyanul Abshor
should consider the simplification of teaching in the recount text material.
In this research used qualitative research. Precisely the data is descriptive
because it needs to describe the use of online media in teaching recount text to
the ninth grade of mts sofyanul abshor at taman sareh village sampang, so that
students are more confident in learning recount text, the teacher simplifies the
recount text subject matter. The teacher uses two ways, namely using
icebreaking or warming up and also the teacher asks the students to write an
example about their past experience.
The results of this research found that the use of online media in teaching
recount text to the ninth grade of MTs. sofyanul abshor at taman sareh village
sampang, was successful. This is evidenced by the participation of students
because the teacher uses online media in learning recount text by the teacher
simplifies the lesson using icebreaking or warming up and asks the students to
write an example about past experience so that students are easier to understand
the material to make recount text
