The Difference of Online Vs Oflline English Learning Pattern at the VIII Class of SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan

Online learning is a teaching and learning process that utilizes the internet
and digital media in delivering the material. In online learning, learners get the
opportunity to access learning materials published by educators and researchers in
every corner of the world as long as they have the required equipment and a
working internet connection. Offline learning refers to traditional education that
allows students to have face to face interactions with teachers and peer groups.
Although online teaching and learning are considered to be the future of
education, they cannot replace offline education in every aspect. Compared to
online learning, offline learning is not disturbed by any technical issues. The
traditional offline classroom also helps students improve their teamwork and
interactive skills as they have to work in the same classroom collaborating with
peers.
The research has one problem formulation, namely what is the different
online and offline comunication pattern on english learning at the VIII class of
SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan. The objective of this study was to find out
different of online and offline communication pattern on english learning at the
VIII class of SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan.
This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis method.
Researchers used interview, observation and documentation techniques in data
collection. This research wants to know the difference of online amd offline
communication pattern on english learning at the VIII class.
The results showed that the difference of online and offline
communication pattern on english learning VIII at SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah
Pamekasan. Teachers maximize two patterns of online and offline learning in
praising themselves so that communication between students and teachers can run
effectively. But online learning is still less effective than offline learning.
Hopefully this research can be useful as additional knowledge to further
researchers about this research with research in learning. Also for teachers in
managing the class
