English Teachers’ Strategies to Their Own Children in Karduluk Village

The importance of parental involvement in the child's learning process
and helping to ensure the success of learning especially English for their own
children, because the first child is born in a family environment, the family must
take part in educating children to be better, both in terms of morals, religion and
other knowledge. Therefore, against the background of the conditions above, the
researcher is encouraged to do research on "English teachers' strategies to their
own children in Karduluk village".
There are three research focuses in this study. The first is, what strategies
do English teachers give their own children in learning the language. The second
is what media do parents use for their children in learning English and how to use
the media to add to their children's skills later. and the last is what are the results
of the learning strategies that their parents use, especially for English teachers
who have small children in Karduluk village.
This type of research is qualitative research, namely research that
describes, tells and interprets existing data and produces deep descriptive datain
the form of written/ oral words from people and behavior that can be observed and
the data is a statement. Data collection techniques were carried out through
interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique is
descriptive qualitative. Determining the validity of the data, in this study using
data triangulation techniques, namely data validity checking techniques that
utilize various sources outside the data as a comparison material.
The results of the research that the researchers found were the results of
the strategies that parents used for their own children, what media were used and
how to use the media, also the results of the strategies that had been applied in
learning English were quite good.
Based on the above results it is recommended to parents to alwayspaying
attention to their children, especially paying attention to their learning activities at
home, so that children are more active and more enthusiastic in learning especially
English because they know that it is not only themselves who want to progress,
but their parents also have the same desire. So that the learning outcomes of
several strategies that are used later are expected to make children better.
