Thephenomenoncontainedinthefieldisthatmanyofthestudentshavedifficulty
expressingopinionsorappearinginconveyingagreeordisagreewithotherstudents.Andthere
isnoabilitytoprocesslanguagesothattheparticipationintheclassisverydifficult.Thatthe
teacherinasilentprogramandsilentstudents',sotheprogramdoesnotgowiththeadjustedplan.
Sothattheteachersusethedebatemethodtoreduceandimplementinprocessinglanguageuse.
TheobjectofthisresearchisthehowteachersimplementthesimplifiedAmericanstyle
debatetoteachspeakingininEnglishextracurricularprogram.Thesecondobjectisthe
advantagesanddisadvantagesofsimplifiedAmericanstyledebatetoteachspeakinginEnglish
extracurricularprogram.Toknowtheadvantagesanddisadvantageswhichgetbytheteacherif
implementtheAmericanstyledebateinEnglishextracurricularprogram.Sothattheobject
understudywillnotpasstheobjectthathasbeendetermined.
Themethodusedinthisstudyisaqualitativemethodfordatacollection.Becauseitonly
hasoneobligationexamined.Sothatthedatacollectionprocedureusethemethodofobservation,
interviewanddocumentation.Observationuseddirectlyobservationstothefieldandalsousing
directinterviewsforinterviewers.Andtheresearcherwouldliketobematchwiththeprevious
chapterandthetheorywithusethetriangulation.
TheresultshowthatfortheuseofsimplifiedAmericanstyledebatetoteachspeakingin
EnglishextracurricularprogramhaveateachersimplementthesimplifiedAmericanstyledebate
toteachspeakingininEnglishextracurricularprogramandadvantagesanddisadvantageswhich
wouldhavebythestudents',howeverthedisadvantagesherecanovercomebytheteacherin
EnglishextracurricularprograminMA.NururrahmahBatuJaranPragaanDayaPrenduan.As
theteachersuccesstoimplementtheAmericanstyledebatetoteachspeakinginEnglish
extracurricularprogramwhichhavetheadvantagesanddisadvantagesforthestudents'.Sothat
theteacherissaidtobesuccessfulandabletoovercomethedisadvantagesthatexistwhen
implementthisteachinglearningprocessintheEnglishextracurricularprogram
