The Analysis of Bound Morpheme in Al-Jamil Quran English Translation of Ar-Rahman Verse

Language is used for communication to convey one's intention to each
other in social interaction. Language or speaking consist of sentence and word.
Sometimes, people do not realize that their language is not only consist of
sentence and word. Most of people never think that word consist of elements
which is known as morpheme in morphology. Quran English translation can
provide an information and educate and even inspire the readers. One of the way
interpret the Quran English translation by analyze the morpheme. Morpheme is
the smallest meaningful units of language. They are meaningful because they have
either lexical or grammatical meaning. The aimed of the research were to find out
the type of bound morpheme on Al-Jamil Quran English translation.
The researcher used qualitative approach with content analysis as the kinds
of research. The primary source used was “Al Jamil Quran English Translation” to
obtain the data. While the secondary source ware books, journal article, and theses
related to this research to complete the primary data. In collecting the data, the
researcher implemented observation and documentation. Unitizing, sampling,
recording/coding, reducing data, abducatively inferring, and narrating ware used
to analyze the data from the object of the research. The researcher analyzed the Al
Jamil Quran English translation of Ar Rahman verse.
Furthermore, the researcher found 27 words that includes to inflectional
bound morpheme and 12 words that includes to derivational bound morpheme.
Here is some data that was analyzed including in the inflectional bound
morpheme, created, courses, computed, herbs, trees, raised, creatures, dates,
palms, producing, enclosing, leaves, plants, smelling, favours, jinns, Easts, Wests,
seas, meeting, pearls, ships, sailing, mountains, seeks, heavens, affairs, worlds,
jinns, zones, asked, marks, seized, forelocks, boiling, gardens, branches,
abounding, springs, flowing, fruits, carpets, linings, gardens, glances, touched,
restraining, rubies, watering, pomegranates, maidens, restrained, pavilions,
cushions, carpets, reclining, blessed. Meanwhile, the researcher found some words
that included to derivational bound morphemes, those are gracious, exactly,
adoration, sounding, smoothly, lofty, sinner, plentiful, abudance, beautiful,
goodly. From the data that found that each morpheme has its function and impact
the meaning, class of word or the grammatical function of the base word. By this
research, people know how prefixes and suffixes affect the word
