An Analysis of Teaching Strategies Used by The English Teacher in Teaching Speaking During The Pandemic Era In SMKN 1 Tlanakan

In teaching and learning process the teacher must be creative in choosing
methods so that the students are enjoy and happy, active do not feel bored in class,
because students have different abilities. The teacher must be choose a method
that suits the conditions of the students in the classroom to make students happy
and improve the learning process, especially in learning to speaking. Speaking
here is important for students in learning English so that they can make good
communications.
There are two research focuses in this study, the first is what are the
strategies used by the teacher to teach english speaking in the pandemic era at
SMKN 1 Tlanakan, the second how does the teacher apply the strategies in
teaching speaking during in the pandemic era at SMKN 1 Tlanakan
The research uses qualitative research, researchers collect data from
observation, interview, and documentations. From the data collected, researcher
can find out the teacher strategy to use the dialogue as a media to enrich speaking
English at ten grade of SMKN 1 Tlanakan.
Based on the result of the research above, it can be concluded that the
process of teaching speaking using dialogue runs smoothly and this is a good
method for at ten grade in the process of learning English speaking. In addition,
teaching should improve the application of this method to make students better in
mastering English speaking. Thus it is suggested to other researcher who want to
conduct research related to this thesis, this thesis can be used as a reference as a
study achievement. This thesis can also be used as a reference for those of you
who want to teach English, especially in teaching speaking.
