There are two problems that become the main study in this research, namely first, is there an effect of using power point media on social studies learning achievement in class VIII at MTs Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan. Second, how much influence does the use of power point media have on the social studies learning achievement of class VIII at MTs Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan. This type of research is quantitative research with statistical analysis correlation design, which is looking for the relationship between variable X (independent variable) and variable Y (dependent variable). Including the X variable is the power point media while the Y variable is the learning achievement. The study population was all students of class VIII at MTs Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan, totaling 45 students. The instruments used in data collection were questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data collection lasted for 2 days, starting from 22 to 24 October 2020. The data analysis technique used was statistics with the product moment technique.The results showed that the use of power point media on social studies achievement in class VIII at MTs Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan. This is evident from the results of statistical analysis with the product moment technique which shows the results of r work of 0.987 are greater than the T value "in the product moment table where N = 45 in the 95% confidence interval is 0.294 and in the 99% confidence interval the value is 0.380. And T work 0.987 when consulted with the interpretation table is very high Based on the above research, the use of power point media is very influential in improving student learning achievement.
