The Implementation of Take and Give Method in Teaching Plural Nouns at the Eighth Grade of MTS Bustanul Ulum Pamekasan,

This thesis describes the implementation of take and give method in
teaching plural nouns at the eighth grade of MTS Bustanul Ulum
Pamekasan.
In this research, there are three research focuses. They are how does
the teacher implement take and give method in teaching plural nouns, what
are the advantages of take and give method, and what are the
disadvantages of take and give method in teaching plural nouns at the
eighth grade of MTS Bustanul Ulum Pamekasan.
This research was qualitative design and used descriptive analysis.
The location of this research was at MTS Bustanul Ulum Pamekasan. The
researcher had two limitations, they were the teacher and the students at
the eighth grade of MTS Bustanul Ulum Pamekasan. Three instruments
that were used were interview, observation and documentation. Beside
that, the researcher used three techniques to analyzed the data, they were
data reduction, data display and conclussion or verification drawing.
The research findings of the implementation take and give method
in teaching plural nouns at the eighth grade of MTS Bustanul Ulum
Pamekasan was success. Based on the result of observation and interview
to the teacher and some students at the eighth grade of MTS Bustanul
Ulum Pamekasan, the teacher said that by using take and give method the
students can train students to cooperate in learning English so that they can
deepen their knowledge. This method also made the students responsible
to what they learnt. The students said that they felt motivated in learning
English. Those show that their ability is better.
Based on the research findings above, this research is suggested for
the teacher who is expected to be able to manage the class well. For the
students, they should be serious and have high motivation in learning
English. The last suggestion is for other researchers to do the same
research but in different aspect.
