The rapid development of science often makes humans tend to deify their minds.
This is influenced by the development of science which in fact is controlled by the west
which is the rationality of the mind. So that, it is urgently needed to have the integration
both knowledge and law of Islam especially in the field of science. Then it is necessary to
collaborate between tafsir with science. Thus, learning and study of scientific tafsir is
needed in the field of education. Therefore, we need a management for the learning
process of science tafsir to create effective and efficient learning.
The focus of this study were (1). How is the Lesson Plan of Science Tafsir Studies
in the Natural Science Class of MA Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Panaan Palengaan
Pamekasan? (2) How is the implementation of learning process of Science Tafsir Studies
in the Natural Science Class of MA Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Panaan Palengaan
Pamekasan? (3). How is the assessment of Science Tafsir Studies in the Natural Science
Class of MA Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Panaan Palengaan Pamekasan?. This study used
a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The research located in MA Mambaul
Ulum Bata-Bata Panaan Palengaan Pamekasan. Data collection techniques carried out by
participant observation, unstructured interviews and documentation of the number of
related sources. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, presentation and
verification.
The results of the study showed that: (1) Lesson Plan of Science Tafsir Studies in
the Natural Science Class of MA Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata consists of: the formulation
of learning objectives, the determination of Science Tafsir materials, determining the
methods and media to be used in the implementation of learning which are all packaged
in the form of lesson plans and syllabus. (2) The implementation of Science Tafsir
Studies in the Natural Science Class of MA Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata that is referring to
the Lesson Plan. The methods used by teachers include; lecture method, questions and
answers, discussions, assignments. The media used was audio visual. (3) Learning
Evaluation of Science Tafsir Studies in the Natural Science Class of MA Mambaul Ulum
Bata-Bata were in the form of tests namely written and oral tests. Written test are in the
form of daily tests, mid-semester tests, semester tests, and remedial tasks. As for Oral
tests is in the form of memorization of verses of Science Tafsir.
Based on the description above, we can conclude that MA Mambaul Ulum BataBata, in managing learning process of science tafsir is good enough because it is planned
and implemented systematically with a good planning, and supported by the availability
of facilities as the media audio visual and many tafsir books in the school’s library, so
that the learning of science tafsir could be implemented as well as possible. Nevertheless,
the school should continue intensifying the quality of any supporting resources and
improving teacher competences in order to have sophisticated and populist output of
students who are able to socialize in any situation and condition in the rapid development
of science.
