THE USE OF LEARNING TOGETHER ACTIVITIES IN COOPERATIVE LEARNING TO PASSIVE STUDENT'S SPEAKING SKILL AT THE EIGHT GRADE STUDENT OF MTSS MIFTAHUL ULUM LARANGAN BADUNG PAMEKASAN

In the process of teaching, the process of selecting method and way which
taken by the teacher is not based to the students proficiency capacity and it is not
also oriented to the students contented to the way or method which is
implemented by teacher.The teacher should think further with taking serious
action, it can be done by implementing a method which gives significant effect to
the students proficiency.Learning Together is one of the solutions in English
teaching particularly in teaching speaking.
The focus of this research is on how the English teachers use of learning
together method in cooperative learning and what are the students and teachers
responses on the use of learning together method in cooperative learning to teach
student's passive speaking skill.The purpose of this research is to describe on how
the use of learning together method in cooperative learning and the second is to
find out the strength and weaknesses of using learning together method in
cooperative learning.
This research is conducted to describe on how the English teacher use
learning together method in cooperative learning on teaching speaking and to find
out the strength and weaknesses of using learning together in cooperative learning
on teaching speaking.This research uses descriptive qualitative design.The
researcher uses three ways in collecting data namely observation,interview,and
documentation.Meanwhile,the subject of this research is the teachers and students
inMtss Miftahul Ulum Larangan Badung Pamekasan.
The result of the research can be concluded that learning together method
is sequence of activity in skill development on teaching speaking atMTss Miftahul
Ulum Larangan Badung with the purpose is to increase students speaking
quality.Various responses given by teachers and students;Learning together
method helps students to think as a group,broaden students perspective and make
students are able to know new cases especially the current issue which talked in
the public,motivates students to read constantly and help student in solving
problem.
