THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) MODEL IN TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS OF READING COMPREHENSION FOR THIRD GRADE AT KARANG DURIN ENGLISH COURSE (KEC) ON KARANG DURIN BORDING SCHOOL KARANG PENANG SAMPANG

Reading is one element of language that is important in making self-mastery in mastering other languages, including the understanding of English both in daily use or learned in school to understand the text that is read then of course there must be a model in understanding a text to make it easier and easier, the models used in learning English are so many but in this study researchers focus on the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Model
The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the numberead head together learning model used by English teachers as well as the benefits gained by teachers and students at Karang Durin English Cours Karang Durin Karangpenang in the comprehension of students' reading; To illustrate the application of the model used in developing students' reading comprehension by ainggris teachers in Durin Karang English cours as well as explaining the use and benefits of this numbered head together model.
This research was arranged using qualitative research with the description method as the type of research. to use of the description method in this study, the data in the study were analyzed using description analysis to answer the focus of the research. To collect data, researchers used observations, interviews, and documentation and this researcher took the place to greet three days 03 August 2019 to 05 August 2019.
The results of this study indicate that using the Numbered Head Together model can foster self-confidence in students, no one is smarter, and is able to provide the same place and cooperation in a group and also helps teachers manage time in correcting student reading to understand student understanding. it is addressed to the English teacher to provide benefits and to enable students to develop their abilities. Then, this study is also aimed at future researchers who want to conduct research on the use of the numbered head together learning model with different aspects. With hope, the existence of this research will provide new knowledge, especially for the world of education.
