EFFECT OF OUTDOOR CLASS METHOD TO THE STUDENTS SPEAKING SKILL AT EIGHT GRADE OF MTS AN-NAJAH 1 KARDULUK

In fact, English language learning is generally done in the classroom.
Education in a classroom is usually rigid and formal and cause boredom. In the
classroom, the teacher usually explain the material while the students are just
silent, listening, and noticing. Students feel bored during the lesson, so that the
researcher interest to examine another method, by using measuring the result of
this method, the researcher has known the effect this method to the boredom class.
In this research, the researcher has two research problem, 1) Is there any
effect of the use the outdoor class method have better at speaking skills than the
students who do not use the outdoor class method? 2) How is statistically
significance the effect of outdoor class method to the student speaking skills at
eight grade of Mts An-Najah 1 Karduluk?.
This research is acquired by using non experimental research because the
researcher conducted the experiment in order to carry out the empirical data from
the research field, namely correlation that involves two variable (independent and
dependent). And the data source, the student of B class of eight grade of Mts AnNajah 1 Karduluk. To collecting the data the researcher use questionnaire, test and
documentation.
Based on the calculation from spss 2.0 the result of measuring the effect of
outdoor class method to the speaking skill of students is gotten by examining the
2 variables, variable (X) is outdoor class and variable (Y) is teaching speaking
while the result of data analysis shows that rvalue to rtable, it can be known that rvalue
is lower than rtable in significance of 5% and Df is 27 (-0,365
