THE CORBELATION BETWEEN OUTDOOR STRATEGI AND YOUNG LEARNERS ENGLISH VOCABULARY ACHIEVEMENT AT THE FIRST GRADE OF SDN ALAM EXCELLENTIA SCHOOL LAWANGAN DAYA PADEMAWU PAMEKASAN

Many students get difficulties in English vocabulary comprehension,
and sometimes they need use interesting strategy in comprehend the words.
So that, the researcher want to measure the effect of outdoor strategy to
young Learners to have with their achievement in vocabulary. Vocabulary
is an English aspect that needs method to understand and comprehend
clearly about the word meaning more over the students.
There are two problem statements in this study: The first, Is there
any correlation of using “outdoor strategy” on the students’ vocabulary
achievement at the first grade of SD Alam Excellentia School Lawangan
Daya Pademawu Pamekasan.The second, How significant is the correlation
of using “outdoor strategy ” to English vocabulay achieviment at the first
grade of SD Alam Excellentia School Lawangan Daya Pademawu
Pamekasan
The instrument to be applied to collect the data was questionnaire to
get data variable X (outdoor strategy) and test for variable X (vocabulary
achievement).
This study uses quantitative research. The population is all the students of
the first grade of SD Alam Excellentia School Lawangan Daya Pademawu
Pamekasan which consist of 12 students. Because the population is less than
100 objects, so it is called by population research design.
This instrument was applied to know the students’ score. Then, the
data was analyzed by using the correlation analysis of Pearson Product
Moment. The result shows that the “r” value of this research is 0,154. It is
between 0,00-0,200, with very low level. It means that there is no
correlation between The students’ Outdoor strategy at SD Alam Excellentia
School Lawangan Daya Pademawu Pamekasan to their vocabulary
achievement.
The result showed the alternative hypothesis (Ha) in this research
which stated that there no correlation between Outdoor Strategy toward
Young Learners Vocabulary Achievement at The First grade of SD Alam
Excellentia School Lawangan Daya Pademawu Pamekasan it is mean
rejected
Based on the research above, it is recommended for teachers to try
to find new strategies or techniques with the aim of motivating students . So
the English teacher can solve the students’ difficulties especially iniv
vocabulary achievement. The English teacher should have appropriate that
is suitable with the material and students’ ability
