The purpose of this research is to know the types of error, the dominant error and the factor of error that made by the members of Fun English Club on essay writing The researcher used qualitative research method. The data was collected from the students writing task. The first step to analyzed the data is identification of the errors, the second is classification of errors, the third is tabulation of errors, an the last is explanation of errors.
The result of this research presented that there are 3 types of error, they are omission, addition, and misformation. The dominant error is miss formation errors which total errors are 20 (55.55%), the second is addition error which the total errors are 14 (38.88%). The third is omission error which total errors are 2 (5.55%). The last is error misordering which total error is 0 (0%).
