Some problems experienced by the people of East Klompang when
carrying out the practice of ihdād made the writer interested in doing this
research. Based on research results, some problems are felt by the people of
Klompang Timur Pakong when practicing ihdād. Therefore, three things became
the focus of research in this thesis research, namely: first, how is the community's
understanding of ihdād in Klompang Timur Village Pakong Pamekasan?
Secondly, what is the problem with the implementation of ihdad for women who
are the backbone of the family in Klompang Timur Village, Pakong Pamekasan?
Third, What is the review of Islamic law about ihdād for women who are the
backbone of the family in the East Klompang Village Pakong Pamekasan ?. To
answer this problem, a descriptive qualitative research approach was conducted
with case studies. While the research instruments in the form of observations,
interviews, and documentation. The data analysis uses a descriptive analysis
method which is explained systematically and deeply to the data that has been
collected through a three-stage process, namely checking, organizing, and
analyzing.
The results of the research in this thesis show that: First, people's
understanding of ihdād in Klompang Timur Village is divided into two types,
namely: (1) a high level of understanding, ie in this case they can find out the
ihdād's understanding and concepts following what has been explained by the
scholars of jurisprudence (2) low level of understanding, in this case, they are very
varied in their understanding. Some have never heard of ihdād, some still
complain that between ihdād and iddah is something in common. Second, the
Problems of the Implementation of Ihdad for women who were breadwinners of
the Family in Klompang Timur Village are: (1) the occurrence of a conflict
between the time given during the Ihdadd period and the activities that must be
carried out every day when making a living. about the concept of ihdād in East
Klompang society. Third, the Concept of Ihdād for Women Who Become
Backbones of the Family According to the Review of Islamic Law are: (1) For a
woman who is practicing ihdād who cannot avoid herself from home because she
makes a living and so on, wears good clothes, has decorations, wears fragrances
or other things that are prohibited in ihdād, she may leave ihdād as long as her
state reaches. level of the problem raised earlier, but he believes that he must first
try his best to be able to do ihdād.

(2) For a woman who is practicing ihdād in which she has to have direct
contact with other people in her work, she can do her job without having to go out
of the house, dress beautifully, and be decorated or groomed, then she is obliged
to perform ihdād.
