ANALYSIS OF INDONESIAN - ENGLISH CODE MIXING ON THE NAME OF DRESS PRODUCT IN ONLINE SHOP “SHOPEE”

English is a language which have a contribution in every part namely education, business and others. In business field, people can doing a transaction with Exploit the existence of technology that exist in this era. here are many application of online shop which is offer products with more some advantages than the usual. Talking about the product, of course each product have a name which is be adapted with the context of the product. In this case, many users of online shop did not know about the purpose of the name of the product. They only doing a transaction without attrack something that exist in that application. It can be cause of they did not want to know about it or they really did not know what its mean. Occasionally, the name of the product using two language, namely Indonesian and English. Meanwhile, the using of two language in English called code mixing. Therefore, the researcher are conduct to doing a research about analysis of code mixing on the name of dress product in online shop "Shopee".
There are two research focuses of this study. The first, what are the kinds of Indonesian-English code mixing which found on the name of dress product in online shop “Shopee”. The second, how the lexical meaning of Indonesian – English code mixing found on the name of dress product in online shop “Shopee”.
In this research, the researcher use qualitative approach in doing a research and descriptive qualitative research design as a kind of research. The object of this research is code mixing in online shop “shopee”. While the subject of this research is the name of dress product in online shop “Shopee”. The researcher used observation and documentation as data collection procedures.
The result of the research, the researcher doing a research for three months, started on 26th October 2019 until 21th January 2020. Then, the researcher analyze the data by using data collection procedures. From there, the researcher get the data as follows: The researcher collect 40 finding which identified into some types. They are 37 Outer code mixing, 3 hybrid code mixing, 31 word code mixing and 18 phrase code mixing. Some the example of the findings are Dress pesta casual (Outer code mixing), Gamis batik syar’i monita modern (Hybrid code mixing), Baju Couple dewasa murah (Word code mixing), and Long dress muslim (Phrase code mixing). Besides that, in the types of word and phrase code mixing, the researcher gives lexical meaning which is the meaning based on the dictionary. The meaning here given in each word, phrase and sentence. Thus, the researcher found a writing error, shortening and blending.
Based on the result above, it could be conclude that from all the types of code mixing, not all of them can be classified. There are some of them which can be classified into two types, but there is not. It is because the researcher did not find about it. While, in giving the lexical meaning, it must be pay attention to the context of each word because one word sometimes have more than one meaning.
