THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THINK PAIR SHARE TECHNIQUE ON STUDENT’S SPEAKING SKILL AT FUN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING (FELL) OF SOUTH LUBANGSA ANNUQAYAH GULUK-GULUK SUMENEP.

Nowadays, studying English is very important. In learning English, the students must be master four skills. The skill that be mastered by the learners are speaking, reading, writing and listening. And speaking is an important part because the people can communicate to each other and get information from it.
As the English teacher, sometimes face many obstacles in teaching speaking. Therefore, the English teacher should try to use many strategies, methods, or technique to overcome the obstacles in teaching and learning process. By using the strategies, methods, or techniques the students can be motivated and active in the classroom. One of the technique that implemented by the English teacher is think pair share technique.
There are three research focuses in this research. The first, how does the tutor implement the think pair share technique on student’s speaking skill at FELL of South Lubangsa Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. The second, what are the obstacles faced by the tutor and the student in implement the think pair share technique on student’s speaking skill at FELL of South Lubangsa Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. The third, how does the tutor overcome the obstacles in implement the think pair share technique on student’s speaking skill at FELL of South Lubangsa Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep.
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative approach, while the kind of the research is descriptive because the researcher intended to describe the information about how the tutor use of chatting partner technique on student’s speaking skill in teaching and learning process.
Based on the observation, the result of this research show that there were three steps in implement of think pair share technique on student’s speaking skill at FELL of South Lubangsa Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. They are pre-teaching, whilst teaching and post teaching. The tutor also give solution when the tutor or the students faces problem in the teaching and learning process by implementing think pair share technique, the tutor give chance for the students to ask the English vocabulary that they don’t know, direct the students to the right pronunciation and reconstructs their spoken English into a good one when the students get difficult to arrange the word. Therefore, the students still stay active to speak English through think pair share technique.
