THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DEMONSTRATING TECHNIQUE IN PROCEDURE TEXT MATERIAL IN SPEAKING SKILL AT NINTH GRADE OF MTS. AL-FALAH

Speaking is one of skill in language, speaking is tool of communication to can interact each other. To deliver the process teaching especially in speaking, the teacher need a technique to make easy the teaching learning process. There are many of technique which used in speaking skill, one of them is demonstrating technique. demonstrating technique make students better in speaking skill because the students directly speak meanwhile the students shows the way to do something.
This research has two research problem that are: the first, is there any effect of demonstrating technique in procedure text material in speaking skill at ninth grade of MTs. Al-Falah. The second, how statistically significant of demontrating technique in procedure text material in speaking skill at ninth grade of MTs. Al-Falah.
In this study, the researcher use quantitative research design. While kind of research is experimental design. Because the researcher want to know the effectiveness of demonstrating technique in procedure text material in speaking skill at ninth grade of MTs. Al-Falah. The researcher use statistical formula to calculate the result of the data.
The result of the research shows that there was an effect in speaking skill taught by demonstrating technique. It was proved by the effect of students score in pre-test and post-test. Based on the value of pre-test and post-test, the researcher got t0: 3.123 and it is higher than tt: 2.12 with significance 5%. So, it is mean that this experiment research has an effect.
