This study aims to examine the implementation of Cognitive Growth Model for XI Grade at SMA As Salam Cenlecen Pakong Pamekasan in the year of learning 2016/2017, the process of learning English in the class is not easy for students, to solve problems, the teacher must look for learning strategies to make students active in the class and be achieved easily. There are six component in the implementation of English learning for XI grade at SMA As Salam Cenlecen Pakong Pamekasan . the students using the learning cognitive growth model. Namely: 1) Learning Objective 2) RPP 3) Learning Materials 4) Learning Procedure 5) Learning Techiques 6) Assessment
This study is purposed at implementation English teaching learning by using “Cognitive Growth Model”. It is selected bacuse it can provide the research problem is how implementation of cognitive growth model on seventh grade at SMA As Salam Cenlecen Pakong Pamekasan, what are the problems faced by teacher and the students in cognitive growth model of state senior high school as salam.
In this research, researcher uses qualitative approach while the kind of research which the researcher used descriptive qualitative. In collecting the data the researcher uses tree techniques. They are: observation, interview, and documentation techniques. There are some steps that researcher applied in collecting the data.
The result of this research by using “cognitive growth model” can make students enjoy and interest in the study subject. And also, this model gives the teacher a good way in teaching learning processs in the classroom. Altough this game makes the students active in this class, but there is problem or difficulty which is faced by the students.
