THE STUDY ON LANGUAGE STYLE USED BY ENGLISH TEACHER IN TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS OF SEVENTH GRADE OF MTSN 1 PAMEKASAN

Language style, when a person interacts with other, it must occur a communication. Their communication will be influenced by the circumstance or the social context in which they may have different style of language depending on situation and condition of its social context. For instance, language style used in conversation between teacher and student in the school will be different from student and his friend in the mall. And this matter proved with presence of teacher. Of course we know this term in partly of people. The teacher is a person who gives a particular subject at a school. Teacher has various meaning, It can be defined as a people who delivered knowledge to the students who have many strategies in conveying the knowledge to their students.
Based on the case above, it can be appointed two research problem of this study in which that are: what is the language style that are used by English teacher in teaching learning process and how does the English teacher used language style in teaching learning process of seventh grade of MTsN 1 Pamekasan.
In this research, the researchers use qualitative approach, descriptive design. There for, the research instrument can divide a procedure to collect data by these steps: observation, interview and documentation.
The result of the research above, that the teacher uses the kinds of language style in teaching learning process. Which kinds of the language style are: formal, informal and colloquial style. All teachers did not use all kinds language style in the class. But, the researcher found that the teachers inclined use formal style in teaching learning process.
Based on the result of the study which has been done by the researcher,it is suggested to further research, if you make next research, this thesis can be used as reference to reach a study and teaching English can help the teacher to give interesting introduction about the linguistics.
