Teaching and learning is educational activities. There are four basic skill should be master there are reading, listening, speaking and writing. Reading is a skill which use to get an information from the text both it is a long or short text. In educational world reading skill could be taught and learn very well if the strategy that use is appropriate. Where is the strategy that use in goal to make the teacher and the students reach the aim that they want. TPS (Think Pair Share) is one of the strategy that could be used on the teaching and learning in the classroom. Where is the teaching and learning using TPS (Think Pair Share) in purpose to make the students easier to understand the material that they read based on their own thinking and also the point of discussion with their peer and also their teacher.
In this study, the researcher collects as data from the observation and the interviews. Besides, the researcher takes the picture and documentation on the process of teaching and learning in classroom. In the process, after that, the researcher describe the data that already collect on the field.
The result shows that using TPS (Think Pair Share) in the teaching and learning process in reading comprehension give some advantages and good responses from the students. The advantages are: Students are able to increase their own knowledge, Students are able to learn new higher level thinking from their pair and friends, Active discussion make all of the students participate, A same opportunity between the ordinary students and the clever students to share they ideas.
