THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STORY CONSEQUENCES GAME IN WRITING NARRATIVE TEXT AT THE EIGHTH GRADE OF MTS NURUL IMAN TONDUK RA’AS SUMENEP

Writing is the productive language skills or the skill of the writer to communicate information to a reader or group of readers. We can increase our written text with taught our ideas to share, one of the written text is by using narrative text. As educator, teacher should be able to solve the problem by giving interesting in teaching learning process especially in teaching writing that can make the students interesting and understand about the material and easy to write correctly.One of the ways to overcome this writing problem is by giving a new teaching learning process, the teacher uses Story Consequences Games to solve this problem. Story Consequences is a game where students are divided into groups and asked to choose one of the story that students know to told then the teacher give pieces of A4 papers, and the teacher asked the students to fold the paper in half, then in half again, and half one last time, making all the folds parallel.
There are three research focuses in this study. The first is how does the teacher implement story consequences game in writing narrative text at the eighth grade of MTs. Nurul Iman Tonduk Ra’as Sumenep, the second is what are the problems faced by the students in implementing story consequences games in writing narrative text at the eighth grade of MTs. Nurul Iman Tonduk Ra’as Sumenep, and the last is how does the teacher overcome the problems in the implementation of story consequences game in writing narrative text at the eighth grade of MTs. Nurul Iman Tonduk Ra’as Sumenep.
This research uses qualitative approach, while the kind of research with the researcher used is descriptive qualitative. In collecting the data the researcher uses three techniques. They are; observation, interview and documentation technique.
The result of the study shows that the teacher implement of story consequences game in a planned manner and the teacher from groupwork and pairwork in the teaching learning process, this game helps the teacher to teach more effective, made students more active in the teaching learning process, made the learning process more interesting and to increase students’ motivation to learn. And the students have positive responds in their psychology and writing skill.
Based on of the result above, it is recommended for the teachers that this method of story consequences game can be used for English subject or writing subject. Hopefully, this research provides new knowledge for all, especially in the context of education.
