THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARACTER IN THE ROUND GAME ON STUDENT’S WRITING SKILL AT THE EIGHTH GRADE OF MTS. NEGERI 1 PAMEKASAN

Mostly there are many students in junior high school have difficulties in writing. Some of students are get some problems every doing some tasks related writing skill. Although writing as an important skill should be noticed by students, it is not all of student capable to write correctly because of some things. To overcome the problem and also to make the class interested, the game is belonging with it.
There are three research focuses in this study. First, How is the implementation of Character in the Round Game on student’s teaching writing skill at the eighth grade of MTsN 1 Pamekasan, Second, What are the students’ obstacles on Learning of Character in the Round Game on student’s writing skill at the eighth grade of MTsN 1 Pamekasan. Third, How to overcome the students’ obstacle on learning of Character in the Round Game on student’s writing skill at the eighth grade of MTsN 1 Pamekasan.
The researcher uses qualitative approach. It is descriptive research, because the researcher describes and explain teaching writing through Character in the Round Game on student’s writing skill at the eighth grade of MTsN 1 Pamekasan. To collect the data, the researcher uses observation directly , interview and documentation.
The result of this research found that the use of Character in the Round Game on student’s writing at the eighth grade of MTsN 1 Pamekasan was success, It is proved the students’ participanton during the teacher used this game to teach writing skill in class. Some obstacle faced by students is some of student memorize a little vocabulary, so it makes them difficult to translate, make a describe about someone even make a pharagraph, the solution the teacher will guided them to stimulate their mind about vocabulary that they had studied.
Based on the result above, the researcher conclude that this game that used by teacher make the students more interest in teaching writing. This game is useful for english teachers who apply it in the process of learning writing. For the purpose of making the class will be more effective.
