Speaking skill is one of important skill for transferringthought, desire, idea, feeling and information to listener, in the spoken of language. Bata-Bata English Center (BBEC) is the Center of English Courses located in Bata-Bata Boarding house. It is a private course that ensures the student able to speak English during four months.The techniqueexpected to achieve for students are basic grammar, expression, pronunciation and speaking, whoever the most techniqueof BBEC student to be mastered is speaking. Sharing techniqueis techniquethat is used by course of BBEC official every on Saturday night involving all teachers and students at various levels which are assembled in front of BBECArea. The teacher make the techniquenamely sharing technique.So that the student will be more active on their conversations
There are three researchproblems in this study,it can be formulated a problems in question form as follow: 1.How does the teacher implement sharing techniquein learning speaking of students’ at Bata-Bata English CenterPalengaanPamekasan?,2. Whatare the students’ problems in the implementation sharing techniquein learning speaking of students’ at Bata-Bata English Center PalengaanPamekasan?, 3. How BBEC teacher solve students’ problems in the implementation sharing techniquein learning speaking of students’ at Bata-Bata English Center PalengaanPamekasan?
This research, the researcher uses qualitative approach with descriptive as kind of research.The reseracher collected the data through observationand interviewin Bata-Bata English Center (BBEC), interview with the teacher and also the students of Bata-Bata English Center (BBEC), and documentation in terms of photo of teaching learning process.The data analysis that is used by the researcher are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. Then, the researcher use triangulation of data source and triangulation of technique. Because the researcher use instrument like observation, interview, documentation to check the data validity.
The result of the research, in the implementation of sharing techniquein learning speaking skill at Bata-Bata English center (BBEC) PalengaanPamekasan, the teacher of BBEC uses three steps; starting from pre-teaching activities, whilst-teaching and post-teaching activities. The Student’s Problems in the implementation sharing technique in learning speaking there are; lack of vocabulary, lack mastery on phonetic symbols and the students lack confident. The ways to solve student’s problems are; teacher forced to memorize the vocabulary, the teacher directly give to know how to pronouncethe words in the pocket of vocabulary and ordered students to talk in front of BBEC area or in the shops that located near Around BBEC in order that they have a accustom to be more confident.
The researcher is going to give some suggestion to the teachers to make them more effective in implementation of sharing technique in learning speaking English of students at BBEC. The teacher preparing is best way to make the sharing time run well. The teacher always motivate the students to increase their capability in speaking and also the teacher can create the situation that makes students interested to speak up. And for the student at BBEC have to always practice and memorize vocabulary often try to pronounce the words in the vocabularies pocket book well. And it is recommended for Bata-Bata English Center students to study hard and high motivation by obeying the teacher’s regulation in the sharing time go.
