There are four language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. From those skills, speaking is more difficult for learners because speaking is tool to communacate each other. Therefore the teacher in MA RAUDLAH NAJIYAH Lengkong Bragung Guluk-Guluk Sumenep uses personal model to teach speaking skills at eleventh grade.
In this research there are two research focuses. They are how does the teacher implement personal model in teaching English speaking skill at eleventh grade of MA RAUDLAH NAJIYAH, how do the students responses to learning of personal model in teaching English speaking skill at eleventh grade of MA RAUDLAH NAJIYAH Lengkong Bragung Guluk-Guluk Sumenep.
In this research, the researcher uses qualitative approach. While kind of research, the reasercher uses descriptive research. Because it is intended to decribe how the teacher implements of personal model on teaching English speaking skills.
The researcher finding of the implementation of personal model in teaching English speaking skills at eleventh grade of MA RAUDLAH NAJIYAH Lengkong Bragung Guluk-Guluk Sumenep was success, it means that by teacher implement personal model can help students to can speak English step by step and make students did not bored when teaching learning process. The students were happy, enjoy, interest, and little afraid when speak in front of class. They also got easy to speak English in front of class.
Finally, this study is expected to be useful for the reader and future researcher. The reseacher believed that this thesis is far from being perfect, so the researcher will accept good suggestions and constructive criticism to make this thesis perfect. The researcher also hopes that the thesis will be usefull and contribute some valuable thing to the researcher herself and all readers the general.
