Strategy is one of way that use by the teacher to teach the students in teaching learning process beside that strategy can help the students easy to comprehend material and the teacher must the teacher must create effective class in teaching learning process , to make interesting depend on the teacher when teach in class activity a teacher must look for the strategy that suitable with the material there are strategy that use by the teacher in teaching learning process.
There are three problems of study in this research; the first is the of example non example strategy on descriptive text in seventh grade at Maarif 1 Junior High School Pamekasan, the advantage of use example non example strategy on descriptive text in seventh grade at Maarif 1 junior high school Pamekasan, the disadvantage of use example non example strategy on descriptive text in seventh grade at Maarif 1 junior high school Pamekasan.
The object of this research are (a) To describing about how the teacher use of example non example strategy on descriptive text in seventh grade of Maarif 1 junior high school Pamekasan (b)To describing about the advantage use of example non example strategy on descriptive text in seventh grade of Maarif 1 junior high school Pamekasan (c) To describing about the disadvantage use example non example strategy on descriptive text in seventh grade of Maarif 1 junior high school.
This research is designed by using qualitative approach, and design of this study is descriptive. The source of data can be obtained from observation, interview and documentation, and the informants are from the teacher and the students at the third grade. For getting the validity of data, the researcher uses source triangulation
The result of the research show that the use of example non example strategy on descriptive text isthe suitable with the material that choose by the teacher in English teaching that showed by the students activities in the class, they feel enjoy the material and more active in the class, and also when they respond the teacher’s explanation beside that they more spirit to answer it, furthermore they interest when the teacher use example non example strategy on descriptive text, because they can discuss about material with his group, the students more active in the class and they also easier to mastery the English subject.
