THE TEACHER STRATEGY OF USING FLIPPING GAME ON STUDENTS’SPEAKING SKILL AT THE ELEVENTH GRADE OF SMA PLUSAL-KAUTSAR PADEMAWU PAMEKASAN

There are four language skills: listening reading, writing, and speaking. From those skills, speaking is more difficult for foreign language learners because effective oral commonication requires the ability to use the language apropriately in social interaction. They need to explicit interaction in speaking, which like any languageskill generally has to be learned and practiced. Mostly, students say English is difficult to be achieved morever in speaking. They can not speak English well. In teaching speaking, teacher can use game. The name is flipping game.
In this research, there are three research focuses. They are How does the teacher use Flipping game on students’ speaking skill, what problems are faced by the teacher in using Flipping game on students’ speaking skill, and how does the teacher overcome the problems faced during using Flipping game on students’ speaking skill at the eleventh grade of SMA Plus Al-Kautsar Pademawu Pamekasan.
This research was qualitative research and used descriptive research. The location of this research was at SMA Plus Al-Kautsar Pademawu Pamekasan. The researcher had two limitations, they were the teacher and the students at the eleventh grade of SMA Plus Al-Kautsar Pademawu Pamekasan. Three instruments that was used were interview, observation and documentation. Beside that, the researcher used three techniques to analyzed the data , they were data reduction, data display and conclussion drawing or verification.
The research findings of the use filpping game on students’ speaking skill at the eleventh grade of SMA Plus Al-Kautsar Pademawu Pamekasan was success. It means that the students english was better. The student were interesting, not boring, fun, and more enthusiastic in learning and practicing speaking English. They also got easy and had many vocabularies memories.
Based on the research findings above, this research is suggested for the teacher who is expected to be able to find new strategies or technique to motivated the students. The suggestion the students, they should also increase the speaking although without their teacher guidance in the classroom. For the readers, they can use this research of game in teaching learning process especially in speaking skill. The last suggestion is for other researcher to do the same research but in different aspect.
