THE IMPLEMENTATION OF FUN ENGLISH TEACHING METHOD TO THE STUDENTS READING COMPEHENSION AT MTs NURUS SHOLAH BATU LABANG AKKOR PAMEKASAN

Reading is an important activity in every language. Reading enables people to find out information from a variety of texts, written or printed information from newspapers, magazines, advertisements, brochures and soon.Reading is process of interpreting information or getting messages. The teachers used fun English teaching method to improve students reading comprehension.
There are two focuses of study in this research. The first is How is the implementation of Fun English Teaching Method to the Students Reading Comprehension at MTs Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan and the second, How is the student response on the implementation of Fun English Teaching Method to the Students Reading Comprehension at MTs Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan.
In this research, the researcher uses Qualitative resarch. Qualitative research is concerned with life as it is lived, the real situation, live expriences or thing that happens in the case. This research will focus mainly on the process of learning of the students reading comprehension by using fun English teaching method at MTs Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan.
The result of this research shows that Fun English Teaching Method was success to be implemented in teaching reading especially for the ninth grade students of MTs Nurus Sholah Akkor Pamekasan. The English teacher did it in three meeting, the first on Monday 18th September, the second on 27th September, and he last on 16th October 2017. The result of this research is also proven with the positive students responses that showed the students very interest to the teaching and learning process.
Based on the result of the research, Fun English Teaching Method is very effective to be implemented in teaching reading. It can make the students more active. It is shown by the part of method that the students like through the implementation of Fun English Teaching Method.
