THE STUDY OF ENGLISH TEACHING LEARNING PROGRAM STUDENT WHO TAKE SELFIE ON TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS AT STAIN PAMEKASAN

Uninteresting teaching learning process make student feel bored then they will do something that make them enjoy and fun as like taking photo or familiar with selfie term. Of course, students who take selfie in the classroom when teaching learning process run hidden away.
The researcher formulates two problems in this thesis, What are factors of student who take selfie on classroom when teaching learning process run and What are implications of student who take selfie on classroom when teaching learning process run?. So, this research conducted to explain why college student take selfie on classroom when teaching learning process run and implication to each learning. Based on phenomenon the researcher interest to deeply the fact of student who taking selfie on classroom when teaching learning process and implication to the teaching learning process. The limitation of this study is taking selfie activities in the classroom when teaching learning process run. This study describes through qualitative approach with descriptive research. While the scope in this study is students of English teaching learning program at STAIN Pamekasan.
In collecting the data the researcher used some techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The interview was done namely English students. In addition, the researcher conducted observation from 12th February untill 1st March 2018 through of inside the CCTV room in Laboratory Terpadu I, while the researcher collected the data documentation as watching and recording CCTV recorder on room 74. Next after the researcher colloected data, the researcher analysis based on Alexandra Georgakopolou theories by using organizing and familiarizing then coding and reducing with conclusion drawing verification.
The finding of research that happened in sixth semester of English teaching learning program students on TOEFL class is astonishing because, there are some students take selfie on classroom when teaching learning process run because some factors although they knew what are the implications of their behaviour. The conclusion gives the result that students who take selfie on classroom when teaching learning process run cause of uninterest with that teaching learning process. Where, the lecturer’s personality factor infected with teaching style and teaching method that used by them.
