THE USE OF BEACH BALL GAME IN SPEAKING DISCUSSION AT ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS OF MA-MATSARATUL HUDA IN PANEMPAN PAMEKASAN

Speaking is apart of daily life that we tend to take it for granted. One of the most important aspects of speaking is that it always occurs within a context,when we speak we are both using language to carry out various social functions and choosing forms of language. In speaking skill’s students of Eleventh grade in Matsaratul Huda often find some problems, such as they tired, lazy boring situation and dod not active in the class. So, many students do not focus on material that they get bored. To solve the problems of the students, the teacher uses Beach Ball game that suitable for teaching English program in speaking discussion.
The researcher formulates the research problems as the follow: 1. How does the teacher apply Beach Ball game in teaching speaking at eleventh grade students of MA-Matsaratul Huda in Panempan Pamekasan?and 2. What are the points of Beach Ball game which are helped the students to speak in teaching speaking at eleventh grade students of MA-Matsaratul Huda in Panempan Pamekasan?
In this research, the reseacher uses descriptive qualitative research that the researcher will describe how the teacher apply Beach Ball game in teaching speaking at eleventh grade students of MA-Matsaratul Huda in Panempan Pamekasan. To get the data, the researcher employs observation, interview and documentation which, then, are analyze by qualitative data analysis procedures.
In the process of teaching speaking of using Beach Ball game on student speaking, the teacher used three steps such as pre-teaching, whilst, and post-teaching. The steps of Beach Ball Game are well applied that the teaching and learning process is active and not boring situation in the class. The Beach Ball game helps the students to speak in speaking discussion at eleventh grade students of MA-Matsaratul Huda. In the use of game in speaking discussion found problems makes the activities are not as perfect as possible, but it is still effectively it means that from the game the students can help their speaking skill. Beach Ball game to help students speaking skill into three points, they are; the game itself, get along within a group and advise by a teacher.
In brief, the researcher suggests that the teacher should give motivation more to the students in every activities in the class. it is suggested also that the students must pay attention on the teacher motivation and all of interacting during activities in teaching learning in order that can understand and improve their skill that have learned.
