Socio Emotional Climate Approach isone of approach in classroom
management which grows up interpersonal relation between teachers and
teachers, between teachers and students, and between students and students to
conduct effective teaching and learning process in the classroom.This approach
become the media for the teacher to help the students in developing their writing
achievement by conducting the good condition between teacher to students and
students to students.
One of the students skill is writing skill. Writing is an activity which
explore the opinion and idea in the written form by combining the fonts to create
the phrases and sentences.Writing achievement is the ability of students in
improving their English Writing skill for any kinds of writing practice. Therefore,
to make the students more comfortable to explore their writing achievement the
researcher implemented Socio Emotional Climate Approach.
In this study there are to problems of study. The first is Is there any effect
of the application of Socio Emotional Climate Approach Classroom Management
to English students writing achievement for seven grades of SMP Qurratul Uyun
Larangan. The second is How is the statistical significance on Effectof Socio
Emotional Climate Approach Classroom Management to English student writing
achievement at the seven grade of SMP Qurratul Uyun Larangan.
The population of this research is all of the students at the seventh grade
SMP QurratuUyunLarangan. While of the sample is the seventh grade student of
SMP QurratulUyunLaangan. There are 30 students of the seventh grade at SMP
QurratulUyunLarangan. In this research uses quantitative approach, while
research design that is used in this research is pre-experimental research.
Theinstrument that used in this study are test and documentation. Test is used to
measure the writing skill achievement of the student at the SMP QrratulUyun.
While documentation is used to support and complete the data such as lesson plan,
students name list, pre-test and post-test scores, photo, etc.
The result of this research is there is significantly difference between
students who taught by using Socio Emotional Climate Approach than before
taught by its approach. It is proven that Socio Emotional Climate Approach is
effective to the improve students writing achievement. It is proven from the result
of t-value is higher than t-table. T-table in 5% significant level is 2,04 with degree
of freedom 30. However, the t-value of this research is 23,43.
From this research, it is suggested to the English teachers to should
implement the suitable approach to help the students in developing their students’ skill. So the students can feel comfort in classroom activities with their teacher. In
this case the researcher using Socio Emotional Climate Approach t the develop
students’ writing achievement. It is also expected for further researches to
continue continue this research with the same media but different genre
