THE USTUDENT'S RESPONSES ON LECTURER'S STRATEGIES OF TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS OF SPEAKING II AT THE SECOND SEMESTER STUDENTS TBI STAIN PAMEKASAN

The most of students regard that speaking subject is difficult. Therefore, it definitely there are responses of students in the class. The lecturer will apply some strategies in every teaching. From that strategy, we wil know how do interest students of the strategies used by lecturers. And lecturer it self will know what are the responses of each students on the strategies that the lecturer used.
The focuses f this study are what the strategies used by the lecturer in teaching speaking II and how the students responses on the lecturer's strategies used by the lecturer in the class. While the objective of this study are to describe what the strategies that used by the lecturer in teaching of speaking II ang to explain how the student's responses on the strategies that used by lecturer in the class.
In this research there ae scope and limitation. The scope of this study is the student's responses on the lecturer's strategies of teaching process of speaking english II and the limitation is the second semster students i English Teaching and Learning Pogram of Tarbiyah Department at STAINPamekasan. This \study is designed by qualitative research. with descriptive research during the researcher analizes by descriptive anaysisi to answer research focuses. To get the data the researcher use three ways such as interview,observation and documentation.
The result of this study shows that the responses which given by the students on the strategies used by the lecturer are variant. The response which ususally appear from the studnts are confusion, silence, laughter, use the native language, total of class or part of class respond the lecturer included into specific response, responding by students' own ideas included into open-ended or student appear because of two reasons, it can be caused they interested in strategies used by lecturer or they are confused so that they prefer to be silent. While the strategies used b the lecturer are cooperative learning, active learning, presentation and game.
In this research, the researcher suggests to the lecturer to always gives a motivation for the students in order to be confident, always try to speak english and ask them to always practice outside the class so that it can drill their skill and bravery in speaking in front of the class. And for the students have to enrich vocabularies, practicing continously and learn more confident.
