Grammar is the structure of the study of English, study about the grammar to help us for speaking, reading, and writing. The grammar of language is the set of rules that govern its structure. Especially, Grammar determines how rearranged to form meaningful units. So, grammar is too arranged to from meaningful unit in complete sentence.
From the phenomenon above the researcher wants to analyze about how does the teacher use of mime game in teaching English Grammar at the third grade students of Muallimin Al Islami (MMAJ) Islamic Boarding School Mathlabul Ulum Jambu lenteng sumenep? And how do the students response of mime game in teaching English Grammar at the third grade students of Muallimin Al_Islami (MMAI) Islamic Boarding School Mathlabul Ulum Jambu Lenteng Sumenep?.
In this case the Researcher used descriptive qualitative. The researcher got the data from the interview, observation and documentation. The number of students at the third grade in Muallimin Al_Islami (MMAI) is twenty four students. The data analysis that the researcher used are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. To check the data validity, the researcher used triangulation of source.
The result of this research showed when the teacher use of Mime game in teaching English Grammar the teacher use a good technique in the process teaching English Grammar learning process, firstly the teacher explain about the material grammar subject especially in adverb subject. After that the teacher makes some group such us four group and change by change with other group to action by mime and the other groups guess what the
action of mime game. After that the teacher gives some exercise to the
student's to know the students understand about the material.
The secondly the result of students response of mime game in teaching English Grammar, the condition student's in the classroom very enthusiasts and active went the teacher explain about the material, and then the student's very interesting by using of mime game in teaching Engli.sh
Grammar, by using of mime game the student's understand about the material and can interact with other friends, and makes fun in process teachi ng Engl ish Grammar. Mime game is very able to teaching English Grammar.
From the statement above, it is suggested to the teacher and the students of Muallimin Al_Islami At the third grade Muallimin AL_Islami (MMAI) Islamic Boarding Sschool Mathlabul Ulum Jambu Lenteng Sumenep, the researcher concludes that the teacher good a technique and good method in teaching English grammar by using of mime game in grammar subject, because mime game to match in grammar subject, and must give interest again in the process teaching English grammar. To the student 's study by heard, because grammar is very important in English Language.
