The important component to determine learning process succesfulness is establishing the learning technique. In building learning successfulness, the teacher should have ability to use some techniques and learning methods that are suitable with the matherials that will be done. One of the way to support students are more concentrate in listening class is conducting classroom seating, like using workstation that is chosen by the researcher.
There are two problems of this research. The first is to find out whether the students who are taught by using workstation classroom seating technique have better listening skill than before using workstation classroom seating. The second is to find out how significance statistically the effect of workstation classroom seating technique at the second grade to students listening skill at SMAN 4 Pamekasan.
In this research, the researcher used Quantitative research approach exactly Experimental research design which data are analyzed by using statistical procedure and the population of this research is the second grade to students listening skill at SMAN 4 Pamekasan. But researcher
takes one class as a sample of research by purposive sampling, and the result are XI lPA 3 Class consist of thirty five students. The technique of data analysis used in statistical analysis exactly t-test analysis.
The result of this research showed that the students of SMAN 4 Pamekasan learning·1iteg after using workstation classroom seating technique have better listening skill .than before using workstation classroom seating . It can be proved by the obtained ( to ) with significant 5% and 1% df:30 (to : 3,452> t1 : 2,04) and df:35 (to :3,452> t1 : 2,03). It
proves that the obtained t is higher than the value of t table in df:35.
Based on the result above, the researcher concludes that the using of workstation classroom seating technique on students' listening skill should be continued as one of classroom seating since it could increase the students' listening skill. It is suggested for English teacher to conduct classroom seating to condusive class.
