Reinforcement is a useful technique to use for short-terms change in children's behavior. It means that teacher must give add strength or support rewarding the target behavior in children 's reinforce. It teaches students to be good solver to make sound decision and to be in charge of their own behavior, such as strengthens appropriate behavior. Anxiety is consider still not easy to define in a simple sentence. Anxiety is associated with feeling uneasiness, frustration, self-doubt, apprehension,or worry. Speaking is an interactive process
of constructing meaning that involves producing and receiving and processing information.
There are three questioning problems . The firs4 What are the kinds of reinforcement that usually used by teacher to reduce the second grade students' anxiety in speaking At SMP Al-Hidayah, Kowel Pamekasan.The second How the teacher use reinforcement to reduce the second Grade students' anxiety in speaking at SMP Al-Hidayah , Kowel Pamekasan What is the students' response to the reinforcement given by teacher to reduce the second Grade students' anxiety in speaking at SMP Af-Hidayah , Kowel Pamekasan.
The researcher used qualitative descriptive as the method of research. Qualitative research is an inquiry approach useful for exploring and understanding a central phenomenon. The objective of research is the teacher and the students. Qualitative descriptive have characteristic in this study. Qualitative research need descripti ve data which are collected data in the form of words or picture rather
than num ber.The researcher collected of the data by using observation, interview, and documentation.
The result of this research there were many kinds of reinforcements to reduce the students' anxiety. In this time, the teacher used positive reinforcement and punishment as technique. The using of reinforcement is applied to reduce the students' anxiety.The atmosphere of the class is influence to the teaching learning process. And Reinforcement especially punishment and positive reinforcement as one of technique used teacher to make students more interest in learning especiaJly speak English. This tehnique i useful for the English teacher applying it in the teaching learn ing process of class is effective.· ,
Based on the result of research above, reinforcement especially punishment and positive reinforcement as one of technique used teacher to make students more interest in learning especially speak English. This tehnique is useful for the English teacher applying it in the teaching learning process of class is effective. So, the researcher suggests the teacher needs to know the students problem getting anxious during speaking in front of the class. So the teacher is able to appreciate them in several ways. It is better for the English teacher to be more careful to djffer whether his students got anxiety or not. This technique gives motivation more to students in order to be brave. Automatically this technique is useful for the students to reduce the students' anxiety.
