THE HALF CIRCLE SEATING ARRANGEMENT USED BY TEACHER IN SPEAKING CLASS AT EIGHTH GRADE MTs AR-RAUDLAH LANPELAN SANA LAOK WARU PAMEKASAN

Speaking English needs teacher's creativity to make the class effective such as the half circle seating arrangement that could help the students not shy to speak English, make the students listen to the teacher's explanation and made the students feeling not boring and not sleepy during teaching learning process. The half circle seating arrangement is the seating could inspire all of the students to participate and the teacher directly can face to face with all of the students.
There are two research problem would explained of this study. First, how is the implementation of the half circle seating arrangement used by the teacher in speaking class at eighth grade MTs Ar-Raudlah Lanpelan Sana Laok Warn Pamekasan? Second, how does the half circle seating arrangement help the students to speak English in eighth grade at MTs Ar-Raudlah Lanpelan Sana Laok Waru Pamekasan?
This research is qualitative and the kind of research is descriptive, the data are collected from observation , interview, and documentation about teaching learning process in eighth grade as data source. Then the data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and checked for validity by triangulation.
The result of research showed that the implementation of half circle seating arrangement who used by the teacher in speaking class. The first, the teacher orders the students to change traditional of seating become the half circle of seating arrangement. The second, the teacher orders the girl students sitting in left of seating and boy students sitting in right of seating. The third, the teacher pay attention to the position of sitting and their distance of seating. The fourth, the teacher teach speaking material suitable in book. And the last the teacher chooses two students come forward did a practice English conversation. The half circle seating arrangement help the students to speak English better and could the class effective. Because the teacher easier to interact with all of the students and also the students easier to interact with their teacher, the teacher can face the students' interactively, the students directly face to face with other students, the students easier to listen the teacher's explanation during teaching learning, and the last encouraging all of the students to participate.
Based on the result of research above, the first suggested for the teacher must have manner to make the students speak English in front of class not reading the book. The second for the students when did English conversation must with expression suitable in text of conversation and effort to not reading text conversation in book in order ihat teaching learning.process' runs well and the last for the future researchers who will do research by the same research, the researcher hope to be better than this result of research.
