The background of the study in this research was based on the students difficulties in speaking. Some of the reasons were the method of the English teaching process was not interesting, and use the costomary methode. Those will be difficult for students to achieve the teach ing and learning target. In order to solve this problem the teacher should creative in teaching. The using of one word game can be an alternative way to solve students difficulties in speaking that make students enjoy and easy to speak english well.
The aim of this study is to increase the students' speaking skill at the fifth Grade of Sasnupatharn Mulniti Foundation School Huay Namkhao Krabi Thailand. by using one word game in speaking su bject. The study was designed as Collaborat ive Classroom Action Research. lt was done collaboratjvely with one of th e English teachers.
The subjects of this study was students of fifth grade that consisted of 29 students in academic year 2015/20 16. This study was done in two cycle, there were two meeting in cycle I and in cycle II it was one meeting for about two months by four stages: plannin g, acting, observing, and reflecting. In the planning stage, the researcher designed lesson plan s, research instn1ments, and the ctiteria of success. I n implementing the action, the researcher conducted the research based on the lesson plan. In observing the action, the researcher collected the data th rough observation checklist, field notes, and questionnaires. ln reflecting the action, the researcher determined whether the research success or not.
The resul t of the test in cycle I showed tha t the treatmen t was unsuccessful, the ava.rege of cycle I was 73 and the avarege score of student in cycle 11 was 81, the achieviecment of second cycle showed that the treatment was succesful cause the criteria of success of the implemeutation one word game was 80%, who got standart minimum can.be said the treatmen t was succes, it was 70.
From the result of this study, it can be stated that the using of one word game are effective and ve1y interesti ng. It can be seen from the significant i n creasing of students test result during cycle J to cycle IL Therefore, tl1e researcher recommends the English teachers to use one word as an alternative way in increasing st11den ts speaking skill especiaJly when the students get difficulties in speaking sk ill.
