Lesson plan is one of important points which must be made by a teacher. By making and using lesson plan a teacher can design an effective teaching learning because the steps are clear and well organized. Lesson plan is not only made by teacher who gets title as teacher or even must have degree as civil servant, but also college students who take education department include English teaching department (TBI) at STAIN Pamekasan. Therefore, there are three research focuses of this research. The first is about the part of students' lesson plans suitability. The second is about difficulties which are found by student in making lesson plan. The last is about the factors which influence students' difficulties in making lesson plan.
This research is descriptive qualitative research. The researcher is the main instrument as the data collector, observer, and analyzer. Inconducting of research the researcher does observation, interview, and documentation to the subject and object of this research which is conducting in STA.IN Pamekasan. Subject of this research is students, especially CDSD of TBI F class academic year 2015/2016 student and the object is 10 students' lesson plans which have potentional unsuitability parts. The data collection analyzed by using three steps of Miles Huberman's perspective are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion or verification. To ensure the data validity the researcher checks by triangulation data.
This research investigated that the part of students' lesson plan is not suitable yet because from seven parts of lesson plan still any unsuitability parts from identity until evaluation. This research also find that the students face difficulties in making lesson plans are: (1) Making clear and complete identity, (2) Determining suitable Standard Competence (SK) and Basic Competence (KD),
(3) Providing both indicator and learning objective, and (4) Determining evaluation by clear scoring rubric and orientation. Meanwhile, the 4 difficulties which are found by the students influence by 4 factors are:(1) Time of study, (2) Lack of time, (3) Class condition, and (4) The number of assignment.
From the finding of research can conclude that the students' lesson plan in the final project is not still suitable yet because the students cannot fulfill all of parts perfect starting from identity until evaluation any unsuitability. Thus, the researcher suggest to TBI student to join CDSD class seriously by active in the classroom, asking the confusion to the lecturer, doing the assignment as well as possible, and preparing anything before joining the class.
