THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SYNECTICS: A MODEL TO DEVELOP CREATIVITY ON STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION IN ENGLISH TEACHING LEARNING OF NINTH GRADE AT MTs. BUSTANUL ULUM PALENGAAN
The Implementation of Synectics: A Model to
Develop Creativity on Students’ Motivation in English Learning of Ninth Grade
at MTs. Bustanul Ulum Palengaan, Undergraduate, Thesis, English Teaching

A model is one of effort or the planning in teaching learning that support to
students’ motivation by teacher interactive and teacher interaction in the class and
it’s most important activity that has to be applied by teacher, because a teacher
the first motivator, facilitator and manager in the classroom. The good students in
the class depend on the teacher so the teacher must know the class condition, the
students condition especially to the criteria of the students in English learning one
of the synectics model is strive for increase the students creativity, problem
solving. In the synectics learning of model to develop creativity gives stimulation
to help the students' competence for great new ideas also increase the mental of
students in English learning.
The researcher formulates two research problems in this thesis; How the
teachers’ implementation of synectics model in English learning at MTs. Bustanul
Ulum Palengaan? and What are the kinds of motivation in the implementation of
synectics model that will give to the students in English learning at MTs. Bustanul
Ulum Palengaan?. So, the research propose this thesis to describe the teacher
implementation to students' motivation in synectics model of English learning
program at MTs. Bustanul Ulum Palengaan and to know the kinds of
implementation of synectics model to students' motivation in English learning that
can change the mental of the students at MTs. Bustanul Ulum Palengaan.
The researcher uses the qualitative approach as the approach of research and
descriptive research as the kinds of this research. On other hand, the writer also
uses many kinds research instrument in gathering the data. They are research area,
data source, data collection, data analysis, validating finding and also some
research steps. The data analysis’ result show about the synectics a model to
develop creativity on students’ motivation, there are some factors influence to
create the students’ motivation in the creativity in the classroom. Such as the
teacher model implement of English teaching learning. For example choice the
technique, topics and also the media, because the motivation from the teacher also
make a good way to invite the students interest.
Base on the result above, it suggestion for the students and the teacher to
always give and keep nice relationship to create the new nuance so that between
the students and teacher can enjoy and interest in English teaching learning
process the class.
