A CASE STUDY OF CHILD’S FIRST LANGUAGE ACQUISITION BASED ON THE STAGE OF LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT AT BRINGIN NONGGAL VILLAGE

This research discussed about child’s first language acquisition at
the age of five in daily language. The purpose of this research is to describe
the process of language acquisition in the aspect phonology, morphology
and syntax. The subject of this research is a child in five years old which is
inside of researcher environment, namely Kamila.
There are two research focuses in this study, the first is how the
child’s first language production based on phonological aspect, the secondis
how the child’s first language production based on morphological aspect.
The thirdhow the child’s first language production based on syntaxis aspect.
The type of this research is qualitative descriptive, because this
research is about the description about children language acquisition stages.
This collecting data method which is used is interview, observation and
documentation. The technique used to conduct the observation method is
taking-note technique and recording technique. From the note and/or
delivering record is the way data collected as the research material of child’s
first language acquisition. While the informant taken from the child’s
mother who knows about whole development happen with the child and also
the language development.
The general conclusion of the child’s first language acquisition in
five years old is developed through some aspects. The first, Researcher
found out the form of language acquisition in phonology aspect is she cant
produce some sounds in all situations (initial, middle and last word). The
second, in morphology acquisition is she is able to use many free
morphemes and affixation-bound morpheme. The third, while in syntax
acquisition is she is able to produce more than three words and complex
sentence.
