In educational context, teaching learning in classroom influence so
much the students’ behavior and respond. The role of teacher also
determine the students’ understanding to the material. In the process of
learning, the teacher have to give clear explanation in order to make the
students understand the material. Based on the background of the students
skill in English. As we know that English is very important in our live
vecause English is a language that socities as global comunication.
Generally English lesson has been studied in Elementary school. In
Elementary School Dharma Tanjung 1 Kec. Camplong there is English
lesson. But based on information the English teacher is not English
graduation.
The focuses of this study are how are the teaching learning process
by non English department graduate teacher at fifth grade in Elementary
School Dharma 1 Kec. Camplong and what are the students response of
the teaching learning process by non English department graduate teacher
at fifth grade in Elementary School Dharma Tanjung 1 Kec. Camplong.
While the objective of the first focus are to know the teaching learning
process by non English department graduate teacher at fifth grade in
Elementary School Dharma Tanjung 1 Kec. Camplong. And To know the
students response of teaching learning process at fifth grade in Elementary
School Dharma Tanjung 1 Kec. Camplong.
This research use descriptive qualitative design. The researcher
uses three ways to get data: interview, observation, and documentation.
While the subject of this study is students in Elementary School Dharma
Tanjung 1 Kec. Camplong. At fifth Grade.
The result of this research shows that in teaching learning process
the teacher to make students understand the teacher must give example be
related with the material and in order to make students remember about
vocabulary. It make the students easier to study English. And There are
many kinds of responses appear from students. The responses come when
the teacher deliver the material in teaching learning process. The responses
that always appear from the students are silent, understand, active, ask to
their friends, noisy, need more explanation, ask to translate, joke,
confussion, misunderstand.
In this study, the researcher suggests that teacher should create the
teaching learning process to be more attractive in order to help the
building up of the student’s imagination in order to increase the students
achievement in teaching learning process. And the teacher should diciplinev
in allocating the time in teaching and learning process. The students have
to prepare the material before they enter the class.
