This research uses quantitative approach and the kind of research which
the researcher used is pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and
post-test design. The researcher used clustered sample in determining the
sample of research. It was used because the population is divided into several
classes. So, the researcher took XI MIA 3 class as the sample of researcher.
The instruments which were in conducting the research are test,
observation and documentation. Data analysis technique that the researcher
used was statistical analysis. The statistical formula which was used is t-test
which was suitable with the research design, namely one group pretestposttest design.
The result showed that there is an effect of jigsaw technique on Students’
speaking skill at the Second Grade of State Senior High School 1 Pademawu

Students’ speaking skill is 95% because the value t0 is higher than the value of
tt in significant level 5%.
