THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CLUSTERING TECHNIQUE IN TEACHING DESCRIPTIVE TEXT ON ENGLISH WRITING SKILL OF THE EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS AT MTSN PADEMAWU

Writing is one of aspects in English that is very important to be known
because it will make the students easier to communicate and express the
student’s idea. So that, the teacher must have good technique to teach their
students easier to write something. In this case, the teacher has good
technique namely clustering technique when the teacher teaches their
students. Therefore, in this research, the researcher conducts a research about
the implementation of clustering technique in teaching descriptive text on
English writing skill of the eight grade students at MtsN Pademawu..
From the phenomenon above the researcher wants to analyse about
how does the teacher implement clustering technique in teaching descriptive
text on writing skill of the eight grade students at MTsN Pademawu and how
can clustering technique help the eighth grade students at MTsN Pademawu
on English writing skill.
In this case the researcher used descriptive qualitative. The researcher
got the data from the interview, observation and documentation. The data
analysis that the researcher used are data reduction, data display and
conclusion drawing/verification. To check the data validity, the researcher
used triangulation of source, triangulation of place and triangulation of time.
The result of this research showed when the teacher implement this
clustering technique made the students are easier to compose descriptive text
because the students knew about the next sentences that the students wrote,
beside that the students felt enjoy to compose descriptive text so that this
techniques helped the students to compose descriptive text..
From the statements above, the researcher concludes that the teacher
Clustering technique helps the students to compose descriptive text because the
students feel that the students know the next sentence to write after the first
sentence. The clustering technique helps the students are easier to compose
descriptive text because clustering technique have some advantages, such as:
can be focus in writing, Improve understanding, and Fun
